Before joining UNISON, Mr. Variawa was working with one of the largest Indian Insurance companies namely “The New India Assurance company Limited" and the last position held by him was - Assistant General Manager in-charge of one of the largest Regional offices handling a premium base of more than 500 crores . During this phase, he was dealing with almost all major corporate accounts like Reliance, ONGC, HPCL, MRPL, Aditya Birla group business, NTPC and many other corporate clients.
Mr. Variawa has the rich experience of handling and servicing many corporate clients with his team members and has the reputation for carrying his team with the vision of his customers with the eventual aim of bringing total customer satisfaction. Mr. Variawa was associated with the Reliance insurance portfolio since the construction stage of the first Hazira plant. The first Mega policy to NTPC was designed under leadership of Mr. Variawa during his tenure as the Regional in-charge of the Vadodara Regional office of The New India Assurance Company and during the said period he was also servicing other premiere corporates such as KRIHBCO, GNFC and GSFC also.

Mr. B. K. Sinha, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director
Mr. B.K.Sinha has worked for Insurance Industry for over 21 years and joined UNISON in 2002 as Managing Director. Before Joining UNISON ,Mr. Sinha was working with one of the largest Indian Insurance companies namely “The New India Assurance company Limited and the last position held by him was as Branch Manager in-charge of one of the largest Branch office handling a premium base of more than 10 crores . Mr. Sinha had developed this branch business from three crores to ten crores in less than 2 years. Six months before he quit New India, his office status was elevated as Divisional Manager-in charge. Mr. Sinha, a techno-marketing expert,is well known and admired by the New India management, which is why the credit of two office elevations from Branch office to Divisional office goes within his service record of The New India Assurance company. He was dealing with major corporate accounts like Adani, Alembic, FAG and many other corporates, along with a rich experience of handling mediclaim Policies as well.
Mr. Sinha joined General Insurance Corporation of India as a Direct Recruit officer in 1988 and was allotted The New India Assurance Company. Mr. Biraj Sinha has wide exposure towards working in core insurance areas like underwriting, claims, corporate accounts and marketing. Sinha has the rich experience of handling and servicing many corporates with his team members and designing NOVEL products on a customized basis to suit the requirement of customers. The First Industrial All Risk Policy to be issued for Port Operations in India was his brainchild. He is credited with dealing with major Loss Of Profit claims of port. His claim was the first claim in the Indian market to be dealt with by professional international surveyor firms. He was recently consulted by innumerable international clients on major claims which have occurred abroad, wherein his approach and advice towards claim was significantly appreciated by all clients - this evidently proves his experience of handling the most complicated claims as well.

Mr. V. R. Datta, Director (Technical)
Mr. V.R Datta has worked for Insurance Industry for over 32 years and joined UNISON in 2004 as DIRECTOR (TECHNICAL). Before Joining UNISON Mr. Datta was working as free lance Risk Management Advisor in the Indian market and advising all insurance companies about risk mitigation, risk reduction as well as conducting risk inspection of all mega and medium risk clients on behalf of all insurance companies for a period of two years. Mr. Datta was the Head of the Risk management and Techno marketing cell of IFFCO-TOKIO General Insurance company for four years and was analyzing the risk profile of all clients along with suggesting effective risk management processes to them,on behalf of IFFCO-TOKIO. The credit for introducing all fertilizer plant businesses to IFFCO-TOKIO goes to him.
Mr. Datta joined The New India Assurance Company, in 1980 as direct recruit Risk Engineer and has had wide exposure of working in core insurance areas like underwriting, claims, risk inspection and techno marketing cell of The New India Assurance Company Limited. Mr. Datta was associated with Reliance insurance portfolio since construction stage of first Hazira plant and has been designing MEGA CORPORATE POLICIES for many clients. Mr.Datta has rich experience of conducting risk inspections of almost all major risks like KRIHBCO, IPCL, MRPL, GSFC, GNFC, NTPC many plants, ESSAR Refinery, HPCL, IOC and many large size risks ranging from 100 crores to more than 20,000 crores. Mr Datta has travelled to innumerable foreign countries to discuss and finalize reinsurance programmes for many large risks and the reports for risk inspections conducted by him are widely appreciated and accepted in the global insurance & reinsurance markets.
Mr. Datta has the rich experience of handling and servicing major corporate clients and conducting risk management programmes for them and also advising them on risk prevention, risk minimization and risk transfer techniques to their best satisfaction. He has worked in underwriting, claims and techno-marketing divisions & can thereby advise on the best risk transfer programmes and the best suited insurance programmes for the clients.
A chemical engineer graduate from I.I.T (Kanpur) & a Fellow member of The Insurance Institute of India - Mr. Datta is known as a Risk Management veteran to all customers in the market, for his technical competency in guiding the clients about risk management programmes. He also posseses working exposure of industrial plant functioning, as before joining the insurance sector in 1980 he worked with Kores, Paper products and RCF.
Mr. Mahesh D. Jhala, Director - Reinsurance
Mr. Mahesh Jhala is a qualified engineer from the prestigious VJTI institution of Mumbai. Mr. Jhala also possesses a fellowship degree of The Insurance Institute of India.
Mr. Jhala is the Director - heading the reinsurance function at Unison. He has prolific experience in the general insurance industry and dealt with a plethora of pivotal aspects pertaining to insurance & reinsurance arenas, during his illustrious career spanning over 32 years.
He has played a significant role in reinsurance facultative placements of certain prominent complex covers in India namely: The Reliance Industries, Dabhol Power Plant (Enron), National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Indian Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (IPCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL), Tata Power Ltd., etc. and has also negotiated with oversees brokers and underwriters such as Munich Re, Swiss Re, Lloyd's, ACE etc. for the above facultative placements. Mr. Jhala has worked with India's premiere corporate house Reliance Industries where he held the designation of Chief Insurance Advisor for six years.
Mr. D. B. Rindani, Director
Mr. D.B.Rindani has worked for Insurance Industry for over 31 years and joined UNISON in 2004 as DIRECTOR. Before Joining UNISON he was working with one of the largest Indian Insurance company "The New India Assurance company Limited and last position held by him was as Manager in-charge of Miscellaneous and Marine department of one of the Regional office handling premium of more than 150 crores and dealing with almost all major corporate accounts like KRIHBCO, GNFC, GSFC, IPCL and many more corporate.
Mr. Rindani joined The New India Assurance Company, in 1973 and has had wide exposure to work in core insurance area like underwriting, claims, product development and business development. Rindani has rich experience of handling major underwriting proposal and large size claim and servicing many major corporate. He is well known for his technical knowledge in Miscellaneous and marine and also was visiting faculty member to training college on the insurance subject.

Mr. Harish Parasuram is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt holder. He possesses exemplorary management and leadership skills acquired by dint of having the experience of working with India's best FMCG companies like the Godrej group and Marico Ltd.
Mr. Harish Parasuram has worked with Godrej Industries Ltd. in the Corporate Audit & Assurance Department for 3 years where he was responsible for planning and successfully implementing the Operational Audit at the Head Office and the factories of Godrej Saralee Ltd (GSLL) & Godrej Tea Ltd. (GTL), achieving pre-set cost reduction targets & conducting EVA audits. He was also the process owner for the Marketing Audit of GSLL, GTL & Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL).
Mr. Harish Parasuram has put in seven years of distinguished service for Marico Ltd. where he has held senior management positions like Head - Treasury and Forex, Head - Insurance and Head - MIS & Corporate Accounts. Ms. Sneha has working experience of more than 10 years in the Insurance industry and started her career in Insurance with UNISON in 2001. Sneha has worked in various departments like Underwriting, Claims, and Customer service.

Mr. Rohan Gupta, Director & Head - Ahmedabad Operations
Mr. Rohan Gupta has worked for the Insurance Industry for over 11 years and joined UNISON in 2005 as Head of the Ahmedabad Operations. Before joining UNISON, Rohan was working as a corporate Agent and servicing many medium size corporate clients.

Mr. G. Rama Mohan Rao, Head – AP Operations
Mr. Rama Mohan Rao has served the Insurance Industry for over 30 years. Prior to his joining UNISON in October, 2008 he was employed with “The Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd.” from 1977 to 2004. During this service with Oriental, he held several responsible posts as Asst. Branch Manager, Branch Manger, Senior Branch manger & Divisional Manager in and around Hyderabad. Mr. Mohammad Shahid is a qualified Arts graduate and an Associate member of The Insurance Institute of India.
